Thriving full service financial firm seeks Entry Level Accountant. This position is located in King of Prussia and requires 0 – 3 years of experience. Primary duties include individual and business tax preparation, bookkeeping, auditing and other financial functions.

Responsibilities:
- This full-time, exempt position will report to the Accounting Supervisor and will primarily perform ongoing bookkeeping, auditing and payroll duties as well as prepare annual individual and business tax returns.

The Accountant will be responsible for performing accurate and timely work and meeting all associated deadlines. Other duties as required to meet ongoing client needs. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports

Skills:
- Understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Experience in Quickbooks, Lacerte or similar accounting program preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to interact with staff and clients

Note: This is an entry-level position, suitable for candidates with limited experience in the field of accounting. However, a basic understanding of financial statement preparation, account analysis, budgeting, and regulatory reporting is required.

This is a full-time position including a modified work schedule during tax preparation season. Requires the ability to sit/stand/walk up to 8 hours plus per day. Ability to lift/carry up to 10lbs.
